In the last night, 31 of March, the astonishment goes certainly to mark the faces of how many flowing to the Municipal Audience to see and to hear Tito Pascoal. Leading one quinteto, Tito is the biggest revelation on the drums he has recorded his first CD, “Walk the Walk”, with only 12 years of age to the side of “monsters " as Dave Weckl, Tom Kennedy and Bob Mintzer. Here he will make the first presentation of his new CD in Auditório Municipal de Gaia .

"In the Internet age, the term "musical prodigy" gets thrown around a bit loosely — a recent Google search turned up nearly 1.4 million references. But just what are the qualifications? If being a headliner at the age of 12 counts for anything, then percussionist Tito Pascoal of St. Peters certainly makes the grade. Under the tutelage of his dad, keyboard player and composer Tim Pascoal, Tito started playing drums at age 6 — and recently released his debut CD, "Walk the Walk." It features an impressive array of musicians, including Dave Weckl, Tom Kennedy and Bob Mintzer. For his Finale debut Saturday, Tito will be joined by his father plus Tim Cunningham, Bill Elrod and Phil Burton. "
